My Background

What I'm all about

I’m an independent espresso technician focused on keeping cafés running. I diagnose and repair machines in real service conditions—mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems—prioritizing uptime, safety, and practical fixes. I treat espresso machines as systems, not appliances, and I focus on root causes rather than quick patches or unnecessary part swaps.

I don’t upsell, overcomplicate, or prescribe replacements that don’t make operational sense. If something can be repaired cleanly and reliably, that’s the path I take.

Outside of field work, I build tools, simulations, and documentation that model espresso machines, water flow, power, and service workflows. I also develop small coffee-adjacent products and visual work, drawing on industrial, alchemical, and historical design traditions. Across all of it, the goal is the same: make complex systems understandable, durable, and easier to live with—so the machine fades into the background and the café can do its work.
